DNV is pleased to host a dedicated bulk carrier seminar during these exiting times – predictions have it that “dry bulk is the best trade of 2023”! Demand for dry bulk commodities looks firm, while new environmental regulations as EEXI, CII and EU ETS put additional requirements on the existing fleet, and may demand a quicker fleet renewal – are we up for “the perfect storm”? In this seminar we will take a closer look at practical consequences of some of the new regulations and how to comply with them. DNV will also share some reflections on what fuel may be more suitable for different trade and type of bulk carrier.
