Clean Shipping Index

Sustainable Shipping web news reports today that the Swedish based Clean Shipping Project has launched the Clean Shipping Index, a web based calculator to compute a company's environmental index.  The index takes into account 20 factors that can affect the environment, including marine fuel, lubricants, bilge water, ballast water, anti-fouling paint, refrigerants and waste.
